City of Durango - Notify Me - Durango Alerts - On the Notify Me page, you can sign up to be notified by email and/or text of a variety Durango-specific news. Sign up for the 'Durango Alerts' item to get city-speciifc urgent alerts.

CodeRED - CodeRED is the county's emergency notification system. Register to receive alerts; you can receive them via cellphone call, landline, text, and email.
La Plata County Weather Radar - Historically, local weather reports used the radar in Grand Junction, CO, but due to distance/curvature of the earth/mountain heights, this often resulted in forecasts that were not so accurate. There is now a weather radar located at the Durango-La Plata County Airport. Weather reports leveraging this radar can be viewed on the linked web page or by downloading the La Plata County Weather Radar app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Watch Duty - Watch Duty alerts you of nearby wildfires and firefighting efforts in real time. While it does not yet provide coverage of the entire USA, it does cover many states including Colorado and New Mexico. Use their Apple or Android mobile apps or their website to be alerted to wildfires in your area.
